Therefore, we have recently carried out a training course on Risk Matrix aimed at managers team leaders and coordinators as well as plant operators.
The Risk Matrix is a management tool that allows an organization to objectively identify the relevant risks for the workers’ safety and health.
Such matrix requires the analysis of the different tasks carried out by the workers. Besides, it is useful to analyze each employee’s level of risk and to suggest concrete actions that reduce said risky situations. Moreover, it estimates the impact that said actions will have on the workers.
At ISI Oilfield Chemicals, this tool is used every time a new task is implemented as well as in cases where there are changes in a procedure as part of security management program. The purpose is to ensure that there have been no changes related to workers’ protection.
