As part of the Annual Training Programme that ISI takes part in, Florencio Varela volunteer firefighters visited our company and they delivered a useful training talk on CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation).
Marcelo Moya, the trainer and Daiana Salinas, Melina Gonzalez, Lucía Cordoba, Evelyn Milillo and Milagros Lezcano, the applicants, were in charge of explaining the techniques that must be performed taking into account the age of the person who is suffering from a cardiac arrest:
- CPR Infants (0 to 1 years old)
- CPR Children (1 to 9 years old)
- CPR Adults (9 years old and over that age)
Besides, the training included instructions on how to perform Hemlich Maneuver, procedure used to treat upper airway obstructions (or choking).
It is important to highlight that staff from all our sectors attended as well as firefighters, who must know what to do immediately in case of any emergency.
ISI considers this type of training to be extremely important not only for the corporate sector but
also for its employees so that they can help at any emergency.
