The central laboratory, located in Florencio Varela, Buenos Aires, allows us to lead in both quality control as well as research and development of chemical products for the sector.
Moreover, at our Vista Alegre base, located near the Neuquén fields, we have a specialized customer service laboratory. This laboratory not only allows us to provide quick responses to emerging demands but also offers additional services such as training, third-party testing, and result auditing.
In our constant pursuit of excellence and the implementation of advanced solutions, we are proud to announce the recent acquisition of a new state-of-the-art equipment for our laboratory in Vista Alegre: the UCA-SGSM OFITE – Model 4005 (Automated Twin Cell).
Discover the main functions of the UCA
The UCA (Ultrasonic Cement Analyzer) provides a continuous, non-destructive method to determine the compressive strength of a cement slurry over time. Additionally, it is equipped with an SGSM module whose function is to evaluate a slurry’s ability to prevent gas migration in the cement. This is achieved through the measurement of static gel strength (SGSM) using a Bob to measure the development of such gel resistance mechanically and directly over time.
This equipment has two independent touchscreens and can perform two UCA tests simultaneously. It can even perform a UCA test and an SGSM test at the same time. The maximum pressure is 5000 psi and the maximum temperature is 204°C. The complete automation sets Model 4005 apart, offering unparalleled efficiency and precision compared to other models on the market.
