As part of growth and new market exploration plans, we participated in North Africa & Europe Energy & Hydrogen Exhibition and Conference 2023 (NAEPEC) held from March 13rd to 16th in Barcelona.
On behalf of the company, the Engineer Federico Arquero, responsible for international market sales and Sergio Rubiño, a member of the Board and ISI’s cofounder attended said exhibition.
During the event, we had the opportunity to interact with business leaders, service operators and members from different African countries to look for possible partnerships.
In addition, we attended various conferences of great interest to our sector, among which “The effectiveness of fluid loss additives in low CO2 oil well cement” and “Polymer EOR: Cost efficient and field proven technology for declining oil production” stood out.
Within the framework of these talks, we spoke with HOLCIM, a Swiss company specialized in cement, about the new trends in low carbon footprint cement.
We also spoke with references from SNF S.A about enhanced oil recovery technology and its implementation in Argentina, which is one of the countries where such techniques are mostly used.
Finally, we participated in an interesting talk delivered by Schlumberger SLB about the use of hydraulic fracturing in Libya, where such technique was the solution to restore well productivity since previous treatments had failed.
To sum up, the presence of ISI Oilfield Chemicals at NAEPEC 2023, Barcelona was a real success since it allowed the company to learn about new trends and solutions in the oil and gas industry, and to build contacts with companies and leaders of the oil sector from different African countries.
