Last week Mauro Giallombardo, the touring car racing driver sponsored by ISI Oilfield Chemicals visited our plant located in Florencio Varela and was our guest in the traditional asados (Argentine traditional grilled meat) on Thursdays. During lunch we shared a pleasant moment and he told us about his plans and expectations for this year.
As from this season, Mauro’s Ford will be driven by the experienced driver Pato Silva and ISI Oilfield Chemicals will keep on supporting the new team. Some weeks ago, the first Touring Car race took place in Viedma, Río Negro province and Silva, the driver from Chaco province, performed very well.
Next weekend, March 2nd and 3rd, the second race of the Touring Car Championship will take place in Parque Provincia del Neuquén Racetrack, where we will be supporting the drivers as we do every year.
