On Wednesday, September 4, ISI Oilfield Chemicals took part in the Jornada Industrial Productiva y Educativa Varelense, an event organized to celebrate Industry Day at the Industrial and Technological Business Park in Florencio Varela (PITec).
This event was a great opportunity to connect local industries with escuelas técnicas (similar to technical high schools) in the area to promote professional internships and to strengthen the relationship between education and the productive sector.
Our booth was managed by representatives from Human Resources, the Laboratory, and the QHSE department, who engaged in conversations with students, shared information about the company, and showcased the opportunities available in the petrochemical sector. Students from technical high schools were able to learn firsthand about the work we do at ISI and explore potential future opportunities through professional internships.
The event also featured the participation of important officials, such as Andrés Watson Florencio Varela Major; Javier Rodríguez, the Minister of Agriculture Development of Buenos Aires province; and other provincial and local representatives.
Being part of this event reinforces our commitment to the community and to the development of new professionals. Through these activities, we aim to continue contributing to the district’s productive growth by promoting technical high education as well as by creating new job opportunities for young people.
